Paulo Dybala receives huge transfer offer after failed Tottenham and Man Utd moves
PAULO DYBALA has received a new transfer offer after Premier League sides Manchester United and Tottenham failed to land the Juventus during the window.
Paulo Dybala will be 'back on the market' claims pundit
Paulo Dybala could be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Juventus are happy to sell the Argentinian during the transfer window, but Dybala is hoping to win back his place in Maurizio Sarri’s plans.
He was close to a move to Manchester United or Tottenham, but the deal fell through over image rights claims. However, he’s now received a fresh offer.
PSG are keen to recruit Dybala this summer, and the club’s sporting director, Leonardo, has told him “come to us”.
Paulo Dybala could be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain
Dybala would be a direct replacement for want-away striker Neymar.
Neymar has asked to leave the Parcs des Princes this summer, in favour of a move back to Barcelona.
He’ll likely only leave if PSG find a suitable replacement, and Dybala is on their shortlist.
The club have offered him a five-year-deal, worth more than £210,000-a-week.
Juventus are happy to sell Dybala for around £80million, as Sarri doesn’t see him as a major focal point in his plans.
But, similar to PSG’s Neymar situation, the Old Lady won’t be selling Dybala unless they find a replacement.
The Italian transfer window closes on August 23, so Juve don’t have long to search for a new forward.
They initially planned to recruit United’s Romelu Lukaku in a swap deal for Dybala, but the Argentina star chose to stay at the club.
Dybala still wants to fight his way back into Sarri’s plans at Juventus.
But, he’s conceded that it may be a futile effort, and he’s happy to make himself available in January if he’s not playing enough football.
Tottenham could come back in for Dybala in six months time.
Dybala made 42 appearances for Juventus last season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.
