Arsenal: Kieran Tierney update provided by Neil Lennon
Celtic are set to go all out to win a ninth successive Scottish title as Old Firm rivals Rangers continue to grow in confidence.
Lennon is determined to prove his doubters wrong by masterminding another first-placed finish in the Premiership, with Steven Gerrard feeling good ahead of the new season.
However, Hoops fans that were hoping for more incoming deals will not be pleased with their current situation, which will not see any new deals unless current players are sold.
Express Sport understand that unless Lennon and Celtic bosses sanction another exit, their transfer budget will remain the same having been depleted most notably by the £7.2m they paid Toulouse for defender Christopher Jullien.
The most likely outgoing deals are for both Kieran Tierney and Jozo Simunovic, with big European clubs interested.
Arsenal are set to launch a third and final bid for Tierney before deadline day that could tempt Celtic to part ways with their talented youngster.
Lille are interested in Simunovic after receiving £72m (which will be paid in instalments) from Arsenal for their star forward Nicolas Pepe on Thursday.
If bids are to come in for either Tierney or Simunovic, Celtic will have to decide fast whether they should reject multi-million pound offers for wantaway stars or reinvest during the final few days of the window.

Meanwhile, Lennon was earlier this week forced to respond to Sheyi Ojo's claim that Rangers are the best side in the Premiership ahead of the new season.
The Northern Irishman is confident that his players have what it takes to brush away the change of the biggest rivals despite their impressive recruitment over the past few weeks.
The 22-year-old had said: “Towards the end of last season I watched some of the Scottish Premiership games and I’m really looking forward to it."
He then added: “I think Rangers are the best team in the league.”
