Rangers: Sheyi Ojo shows off his skills in training
Celtic go into the new campaign as favourites after winning the past eight titles in succession.
However, despite not lifting a the trophy since 2011, a positive debut season under Steven Gerrard last time out has given Rangers fans new-found optimism.
Liverpool winger Ojo has joined Rangers on loan and made a bold statement about the Ger’s chances after a positive pre-season campaign.
The 22-year-old said: “Towards the end of last season I watched some of the Scottish Premiership games and I’m really looking forward to it.

But Lennon, who returned to Parkhead in January after Brendan Rodgers joined Leicester, has chosen to back his players rather than start a war of words with Ojo.
He stated: “I don’t know what it’s based on, but he is entitled to his opinion.
“It just washes over us. We are here to play in the Champions League.
“I don’t think our players have to justify themselves in any way, shape or form.
