MANCHESTER UNITED will receive a £75m bid from Inter Milan for striker Romelu Lukaku, but Ole Gunner Solskjaer is still likely to turn down the transfer offer.
Man United: Lukaku arrives for Leeds game amid transfer talk
Inter Milan have been trying to sign Lukaku for a number of weeks, and the player is keen on a move to Milan.
They’re expected to make a £75m bid for the Belgian over the coming days, made up of £60m up front, with £15m in add-ons.
But Manchester United will rebuff the offer, as they’re holding out for at least £80m for the 26-year-old, according to The Times.
Solskjaer wants to make a profit on Lukaku, who United bought from Everton for £76m in 2017.

Inter’s new manager, Antonio Conte, is a big fan of the striker, and he even tried to sign him during his two-year spell at Chelsea.
It’s also believed that Lukaku would be open to a move to Serie A, after previously revealing his desire to play in Italy.
Solskjaer has also told the Belgium international that he’ll be playing second fiddle to Marcus Rashford this season.
That’s likely had an impact on Lukaku’s decision to leave Old Trafford, as he wants to play first-team football ahead of next summer’s European Championships.
Lukaku travelled with the United squad to Australia for their pre-season tour, but he hasn’t featured in their opening two friendlies.
He had a “niggle” which kept him out against Perth Glory last week, and he picked up a “knock” before United’s match against Leeds yesterday.
The timing of these injuries may be considered questionable, seeing as the Red Devils are due to play against Inter on Saturday in the International Champions Cup.
“It’s not ideal when you miss training,” said Solskjaer.
“[Lukaku] missed the end of the training session and he missed the game yesterday, so he's missed two chances to play 45 minutes.
“At this stage, it’s important [to] get everyone fit so hopefully he’ll be available soon.”
It’s understood that Lukaku has already agreed a £180,000-a-week deal with the Nerazzuri.
The striker made 32 Premier League appearances for United last season, scoring 12 goals.
