Man Utd: Bruno Fernandes ’blown away’ by club says fan
Red Devils fans are desperate to see the Portuguese international complete a move to Old Trafford this summer and their patience is wearing thin.
That’s amid reports earlier this week that Ed Woodward has lodged a £50million bid for the midfielder.
It’s no secret that Fernandes has been identified by Manchester United as a top target but it’s believed they’re still yet to make a formal approach to sign him.
According to Sky Sports man Dharmesh Sheth, Fernandes' club Sporting are even prepared to sell should an offer finally arrive.
“More from Sporting Lisbon’s side, there is a feeling that this is the primetime to sell Bruno Fernandes,” he said on the Transfer Talk show.
“Manchester United put premium on the price and secondly he’s just come off the back of his best ever season 32 goals in 50 games.
“Are they going to get this money ever again?”
The Nations League winner has a £31.5million (€34m) release clause but Sporting owe him £4.5m (€5m) if they decide not to honour it.

Bruno Fernandes scores STUNNING strike against Benfica
That is likely to happen as Sporting want more than £50m for their captain.
United are currently focused on trying to land Harry Maguire from Leicester, who is deemed as the final piece of the puzzle in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s defence.
They’re also hatching a plan to sign Sean Longstaff from Newcastle, meaning they have decided to prioritise other targets before a deal for Fernandes.
“The impression we’re getting from the United end is the more urgent targets lie elsewhere,” Sheth added.
