Dean Henderson issues stunning Man Utd wage demands amid David De Gea uncertainty
MANCHESTER UNITED reserve goalkeeper Dean Henderson has asked for a £75,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford, as the uncertainty surrounding David De Gea’s future continues.
The club had offered the Spain international a £300,000-a-week deal, but it was rejected.
His current contract - £200,000-a-week - is up at the end of next season, and a number of clubs are circling to snatch the goalkeeper on a free transfer.
But the proposed contract is still wildly short of United’s highest earner, Alexis Sanchez, who receives more than £500,000-a-week.
