Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes David de Gea decision amid contract dispute
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still considers David de Gea as a key player and reports suggest United are ready to up their contract offer for the Spanish star.
But ESPN now report that United are ready to make De Gea an improved offer as they look to keep the shot-stopper.
It’s claimed that United are not prepared to sell De Gea with the Spaniard currently believed to earn £240,000 per week.
United team-mate Alexis Sanchez reportedly earns double that figure and the new contract offer would push De Gea closer to those earnings.
De Gea had a rocky end to the season as Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League.

The goalkeeper made a number of errors though kept his place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team through the final weeks of the campaign.
But the Norwegian was unsure whether De Gea would stay at the club during the contract disputes.
"No updates from me," Solskjaer said during the final weeks of the season.
"The club and David are in dialogue. Hopefully they'll agree. It's out of my hands, but I'm sure we'll do what we can.
