"The first year was a year of adaptation, a new experience," he said. "He feels very happy in Paris. He is happy, and he is growing up with PSG.
“His future is in Paris, his present is in Paris. It's hard to talk about the future because in football, it can change at any time."
The news comes one day after former PSG midfielder Leonardo was re-appointed sporting director, having left the post in 2013.
One of the the Brazilian’s first big decisions is to offload his countryman, who earns a reported £445,000 a week at Parc des Princes.

PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi said Leonardo would take the club in a new direction upon his appointment on Friday.
"Paris St-Germain has always remained his family and we are delighted to welcome him back,” Al-Khelaifi said.
“His return, with his enthusiasm and talent, will bring the club into a new ambitious cycle and I am sure that this reunion will bring happiness to the Parc des Princes, which has always kept Leo in its heart."
