Real Madrid want to sign other players before completing Man Utd deal - Gabriele Marcotti
MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Paul Pogba is not a priority signing for Real Madrid this summer, according to European football expert Gabriele Marcotti.
Real Madrid: Pogba NOT club’s priority claims Marcotti
Pogba has been linked with an exit from Manchester United after a turbulent end to the season.
The Frenchman was criticised for his performances in the latter stages of the campaign and was on the wrong end of abuse from some Old Trafford fans on the final day.
Pogba previously claimed it was a dream for any player to play for Real Madrid and under manager Zinedine Zidane.
Marcotti says Pogba would be a good fit at the Bernabeu to slot into Real’s ageing midfield.
As far as Real Madrid are concerned right now, they have other priorities

However, he says sorting out the defence and securing a deal for Chelsea star Eden Hazard is higher on the La Liga side’s agenda than signing Pogba.
Hazard confirmed on Wednesday following the Europa League final win over Arsenal he expects to leave Chelsea this summer.
“I think Real Madrid could use another player in the midfield,” Marcotti said of Paul Pogba on ESPN FC.
“If you look at the age profile of Luka Modric, his contractual situation.

“Some of these kids like [Federico] Valverde for example, like Dani Ceballos, there’s still question marks.
“I think [Pogba] would be a tremendous fit, I think it would be an opportunity for United to cash in.
“I think Pogba would go but I don’t think he’s going to cause a stink to make a move.
