Real Madrid need to generate money for Pogba says Lowe
Real Madrid boss Zidane wants to sign Pogba this summer, regularly talking up the Manchester United star in press conferences in recent months.
Reports have claimed the feeling is mutual, with the World Cup winner growing increasingly fed up with life at Old Trafford.
Manchester United will not be rubbing shoulders with Real Madrid and the rest of Europe’s elite after finishing sixth in the Premier League table this summer.
This means that, once again, the Red Devils will have to make do with the Europa League.

Ashley Young still appears to be frontrunner for the armband.
But the England international will not be guaranteed regular minutes next term should the club succeed in their attempts to sign a new right-back.
Meanwhile, ESPN pundit Steve Nicol believes Pogba’s angry stand-off with a United fan recently shows he WANTS to stay put.
Nicol said: “That would squash all types of rumours and stories that have been going around for goodness knows how long.
“It’s not desperation [to make Pogba captain], if he’s shown that he really wants to stay at United, it’s a great way of saying, ‘We’re glad you believe in us because we believe in you. We believe in you so much we’re going to make you captain. This is going to be the start of a new era, we want you to be the focal point of that.’
“I think this is a smart move to get him on side if indeed he wasn’t on side as it is. I think you saw that he’s willing to take responsibility.
“You don’t stand in front of your home crowd when you’re getting berated and try and talk a point out, you don’t do that if you want to leave a club.
“You hightail it into the dressing room, you don’t waste your time because you can’t wait to get out.
“I don’t get the impression that this guy is desperate to get out.
“He came back to Manchester United because he has a feeling for the club and I don’t think he would feel right leaving the club in the sort of turmoil it is in now.
“I think he’s got a lot more character than people give him credit for.”
