Tottenham manager Pochettino broke down in tears immediately after the final whistle was blown in Amsterdam, but managed to regain his composure before his interview on BT Sport.
However, shortly after he was reminded of the heroics displayed by his team he once again let his emotions get the better of him.
"It's still difficult to talk, the emotion is amazing,” the Argentine said with tears running down his face.
“Thank you football, thank you these guys, these players are my heroes.
