The left-back is renowned for his honesty after openly admitting recently that he does not enjoy life as a footballer.
While Rose has had to deal with a number of difficult problems including his uncle’s suicide and sickening racist abuse, he thankfully now feels in a better place.
“Yes, I am enjoying my football,” he told Sky Sports ahead of the London derby with West Ham.
Last August, Rose came close to joining Bundesliga side Schalke in a surprising loan deal.
But Rose has claimed he spoke with manager Mauricio Pochettino, who helped motivate him to kick on again at Spurs.
“After the World Cup there was talk of me moving on,” he added.
“I was speaking to another club which Tottenham know about, but it didn’t happen.
“I called the manager after the World Cup and he just said to me ‘you’re welcome to stay but you have to get your head down and work hard.

“‘Everybody is going to start from a fresh.’
“At the minute the manager is bringing me on left midfield, centre midfield. I used to play there as a kid.
“So yeah, I feel like a real valuable member of the team and squad and I’m loving it.”
Rose is now repairing his relationship with the Argentine boss, after he criticised Tottenham's wage structure and transfer policy in an interview last year, he also said he would like to play in the north before he retires.
