Liverpool are interested in signing Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne, however, they face serious competition from Chelsea.
Liverpool are expected to splash the cash this summer, with the Reds hoping to challenge for the title again next season.
And according to Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Klopp has identified his top target.
They say Napoli forward Insigne is wanted by Liverpool - and Klopp is a huge admirer of the Italy international.
However, Corriere Dello Sport say Chelsea are also in the hunt for Insigne.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri managed the forward during his time at Napoli and a reunion could be on the cards.

Emerson Palmieri staying
Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has decided to snub transfer interest from Inter Milan to stay at Stamford Bridge.
That’s according to Goal, who claim Palmieri is happy to remain in West London and fight to make the left-back role his own.
Palmieri, 24, has spent much of his time at Chelsea playing second-fiddle to Marcos Alonso but has started the last four Premier League fixtures under Maurizio Sarri.
Goal claim the Italy international is on Inter’s transfer shortlist with manager Luciano Spalletti particularly eager to secure his signature.

Hudson-Odoi recovery
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is focused on the "road to recovery" after having surgery on a ruptured Achilles tendon which ended his season.
The 18-year-old England international suffered the injury during Monday's 2-2 draw with Burnley at Stamford Bridge, and underwent an operation on Tuesday evening.
In a brief video message via his social media accounts, Hudson-Odoi said: "Hi guys, thank you for all the messages and support that you have been sending me, really appreciate it.
"I am doing better and feeling better, so thank you very much and (it's) just the road to recovery now. Thank you."
The winger will now miss Chelsea's remaining fixtures as they bid to secure a top-four spot and also win the Europa League.
