Real Madrid: Gareth Bale has 'no intention' of leaving says expert
Real Madrid star Bale has been linked with a move to Manchester United ever since moving to the Bernabeu in 2013.
In fact, the Red Devils’ interest in the Wales international stretches back to his time as a teenager with Southampton, with Sir Alex Ferguson failing to land him during his spell in charge.
Bale’s time at Real Madrid appears to be drawing to a close, with the 29-year-old no longer guaranteed to start in the wake of Zinedine Zidane’s shock return as manager.
As a result, talk is rife that he may be sold at the end of the campaign, with United, Arsenal and Tottenham all backed to bring him back to the Premier League.
And Marca claim Real are hopeful that Bale will leave on loan.
They are supposedly aware that nobody is likely to pay their £100million asking price for the forward, who has endured a nightmare season so far.
As a result, the loan market is seen as a way to get him off the books with Real supposedly hopeful any suitors will pay a small fee, pay the player’s wages and have an option to buy on any potential transfer permanent.
And Marca claim Real are hoping that United will jump at the chance to bring the star in.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are stuck in a rut at present and could miss out on Champions League football next season.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid coach Zidane has refused to disclose whether or not Bale will be sold this summer.
"He had a chance to score and I feel sorry for him because I would have liked to seen Bale score,” he said after Sunday’s victory over Athletic Bilbao.
“I’m not going to get involved in those things.
“You're free to ask the question, but I'm allowed to answer what I like."
