Mohamed Salah to QUIT Liverpool: Agent reveals all on SHOCK reports in Spain
MOHAMED SALAH has no intention of leaving Liverpool, his agent has insisted.
On Wednesday, it was claimed the Egypt international has asked Liverpool to let him leave the club at the end of the season.
Spanish outlet AS made the huge declaration, which stunned Reds fans.
The news soon came to the attention of Salah’s representative Ramy Abbas Issa, who emphatically dismissed the notion of his client asking for a transfer request with a witty pun.
He tweeted: “Talking out of their AS again."
Salah joined Liverpool in June 2017 from AS Roma for a fee of £34million.
The forward has been a revelation since signing for Jurgen Klopp’s side, scoring 66 goals and picking up 26 assists for the Merseysiders.
Salah has greatly endured himself to the Anfield faithful with his goalscoring exploits and has felt nothing but loved by Reds fans.
"From my first day here at the club I had a warm welcome from the fans,” Salah said in a recent interview with comedian John Oliver. “I feel the love.
Talking out of their AS
"They give me motivation in the game.
“I feel like supported from them you feel the love when they sing your song that must mean that you are special."
Salah has played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s pursuit of the Premier League title this season, scoring 19 goals so far this campaign.
The 26-year-old’s form since joining the Reds has stunned many, including his former Chelsea team-mate Ashley Cole.
“To be honest, no,” Cole told Sky Sports when asked if he foresaw Salah reaching the dizzying heights he’s reached in the last two seasons. I saw in training the ability that he had but he seems to have become more ruthless.
“I don’t mean selfish in a bad way but he wants to score goals. That’s his job. He needs to score goals. Him, [Roberto] Firmino and [Sadio] Mane all play well together but I think he’s become a little bit more ‘it’s about me now, it’s my time’.
“He’s had enough of the other players being in the shadow and he wants to be the main man.”
Salah and his Liverpool team-mates will be back in action this evening when they take on Porto in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
