The Brazil international has failed to hold down a place in the starting XI, though, which has fuelled suggestions he could leave the Catalan capital.
In January, it was reported that Manchester United are interested in signing the 26-year-old.
It was claimed the Red Devils - who are planning a major overhaul of their squad this summer - were willing to splash out £100million to acquire the midfielder’s services.
Coutinho has also been linked with a shock return to Liverpool.
However, the former Inter Milan man has poured cold water on talk of a move back to England by pledging his future to the Spanish champions.
"My head is exclusively in Barcelona,” Coutinho told the Daily Mirror. “Returning to England now does not fit into my plans.
"This is my second season here. I have won titles but I am always an ambitious and demanding player. So, I want more and more.

"But I'm happy. I wanted to play in Spain and I'm at the best club in Spain."
Coutinho will return to England on Wednesday when Barcelona take on Manchester United in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
And he’s expecting the Old Trafford faithful to give him and his former Reds team-mate Luis Suarez a frosty reception.
