Liverpool face Tottenham on Sunday as the attempt to leapfrog Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp’s men held a seven-point lead at the summit at the turn of the year - but a run of draws saw the club slip behind City in the pecking order.
Club legend Jamie Carragher has had his say on the title race, and insisted that Liverpool need to win their next few fixtures in order to have any chance of lifting the trophy in May.
"I think it will go to the wire," Carragher told Sky Sports.

Sadio Mane’s form has played a big part in the recent winning run, but Mohamed Salah is having his worst spell at the club in terms of games without a goal.
Despite that, the Reds are just a point behind City after 31 games have been played, and Carragher has been impressed with the resolve shown by players in recent fixtures.
He continued: ”There were lots of questions being thrown at Liverpool and they weren't really answering them.

“For two or three weeks they had a lot of draws in games.
"Since City have gone in front, Liverpool have had a decent little run of winning games, but they need to continue that now."
Klopp has warned supporters of the threat that Tottenham will pose on Sunday, but remains confident that his side have enough talent to secure victory.
He said: “If you expect not to have problems, then you’re going to have them.”
