Liverpool will win Premier League if they win these THREE games - Chris Sutton
LIVERPOOL will win the Premier League title if they can win their next three matches.
Liverpool's only Premier League worry is Man City says Sutton
That is the opinion of BT Sport pundit and former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton.
Liverpool dropped down to second in the table on Saturday following Manchester City’s win at Fulham.
City are now one point clear having played the same amount of games thanks to goals from Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero at Craven Cottage.
Liverpool return to Premier League action on Sunday when they host Champions League quarter-finalists Tottenham at Anfield.
I think their next three games, if they win the next three I think they’ll win it
Liverpool’s only other game against the top six is at home to Chelsea in two weeks time.
Sutton believes if Jurgen Klopp's side can dispose of Spurs and Chelsea, as well as Southampton in-between, the title will be theirs.
“I think their next three games, if they win the next three I think they’ll win it,” Sutton said.
“Spurs, Southampton away and Chelsea at home.
“And then I think their run in is pretty gentle.”
However, Sutton admits it is a concern for Liverpool that City are close to having a fully-fit squad.
Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho both featured against Fulham and left-back Benjamin Mendy is close to a return.
“The worrying thing I suppose from Liverpool’s point of view is City are now getting their big guns back,” Sutton added.
“De Bruyne’s fit, Fernandinho was on the bench today.
“Let’s get it right, Fulham away for City is a gimme isn’t it.
“You couldn’t wish for a better game coming back from the international break, Fulham or Huddersfield.”
