Man Utd warned of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘DANGER’ with squad after announcement
MANCHESTER UNITED are in danger of slipping out of the race for the top four, because their players were playing to get Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the managerial job full-time.
United have been in terrific form since Solskjaer took over as caretaker boss, and have been beaten just three times from 17 games.
Rashford in particular has looked like a completely different player since Jose Mourinho was sacked in December.
The forward has scored six goals in 12 Premier League games, as well as smashing home the last-minute penalty away at Paris Saint-Germain to take United through to the Champions League quarter finals.
But United fans have been warned that the honeymoon for Solskjaer may not last, as some of the form his team has shown has been to convince the board to give the Norwegian the role full-time.

“The only danger now that I can see is that the players were playing to get him the job,” he explained.
“Now he’s got the job, is there going to be this inevitable dip?
“They’ve lost two games on the bounce already.
“If they lose the third this weekend against Watford, that’s really them out of the top four.

“It’s a gamble, giving it to him now.
“But I can see why they did, they want to give him a head-start for next season.”
United are currently fifth in the Premier League, two points behind Arsenal, who are fourth.
They still have a Manchester derby against rivals City before the end of the season, and face a tough battle with sixth-placed Chelsea - who are one point behind them - and The Gunners for fourth spot.
