Eric Cantona spotted at PSG vs Man Utd: And United fans in the stadium go ballistic!
ERIC CANTONA is in Paris for Manchester United’s clash with PSG tonight.
And United fans in the Parc des Princes know he is there.
Cantina is a Manchester United icon, having won four Premier League titles with the Red Devils in the 1990s.
He quit football in 1997 but still has strong connections with United.
Cantina was spotted in his box at the Parc des Princes ahead of kick off tonight.
And United fans seem to be particularly proud their former icon is watching the match.
In footage uploaded onto social media, a video shows United fans chanting Cantona’s name ahead of kick off.
United have a tricky task ahead of them, having lost the first leg 2-0 in Manchester last month.
As for Cantona, he branded PSG a ‘small club’ last year when talking about Javier Pastore.
"He plays for Argentina but he doesn't play for Paris, a small club, but since they have a lot of money they are big," he said at the time.
Manchester United got off to a stellar start in Paris as Romelu Lukaku scored after just 111 seconds.
Juan Bernat equalised for the hosts 10 minutes later to put PSG 3-1 up on aggregate.
But Lukaku gave the visitors hope before half time when he converted off a Gianluigi Buffon error.
