Gary Neville rubbishes Manchester United cliche at PSG: ‘It is too important’
GARY NEVILLE has delivered some words of advice to Manchester United’s younger players ahead of tonight’s clash with PSG.
And the United legend has refused to simply tells the youngsters to “enjoy it” out on the European stage.
United need to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit in the Parc des Princes to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.
It appears as tricky task for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has named a youthful XI for the game.
Marcus Rashford, Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay all start for the Red Devils.
You can’t enjoy it because it’s too important
And Neville had some words for advice ahead of kick off.
Speaking on Manchester United’s official Twitter account, Neville said: “You’d normally come out with a cliche, like ‘enjoy it’.
“But you can’t enjoy it because it’s too important.
“I was extremely nervous in my first game and I’m sure these lads will be nervous tonight.

“I came here last year for the Real Madrid game when PSG got knocked out. And the atmosphere is incredible.
“Here tonight it will be absolutely amazing for the lads.
“So what I says is it’s an experience for them.
“Concentrate on your first pass, your first tackle, your first moment in the game and don’t think beyond that. And hopefully you get through it and enjoy it at the end of the game.”
