“Believe me mate, I understand your frustration. It’s not easy to stay calm when you support Arsenal,” a fellow fan wrote.
Another added: “S** happens Laca. Chin up big man. Take this opportunity to chill and come back stronger. All the best.”
Ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown was vocal after the Gunners’ defeat, insisting Unai Emery’s men weren’t at the races.
"It was as poor as I can remember, certainly under Emery. Bate, you have to give them credit," he said.
"Arsenal just didn't have the penetration. They were so sloppy. They have got to do better than this.
"Arsenal had so much possession but there was so many stray passes. The pitch is not an excuse. That's a very disappointing result."
The Gunners face BATE on Thursday, February 21 as Emery’s men hope to reverse the scoreline.
Arsenal then return to Premier League action against Southampton.
