Arnautovic: West Ham ‘should have seen it coming’ says pundit

The Uruguayan was identified as a potential signing up front, but there are reservations about the Uruguayan’s $45million release clause.
If Arnautovic stays, which seems ever more likely, there is less chance of a new striker arriving, but that has not stopped the Irons hatching a contingency plan.
"The wheels are in motion, let's put it that way, for a replacement to come in if and when you'd have to say Arnautovic leaves,” in-the-know Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth told the Transfer Talk Podcast on Sunday.
"Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, he could be the man to come in.
“We are told West Ham representatives are in Vigo at the moment trying to thrash out a deal.”
