Jamie Redknapp says TWO Arsenal players would get in Chelsea team - identities revealed
JAMIE REDKNAPP says there are only two Arsenal players good enough to make the Chelsea side.
And, in a cruel blow to Arsenal fans, one of them is set to leave the club to join Juventus in the summer.
For Redknapp has picked out Aaron Ramsey, the Welshman who is out of contract in the summer, and striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the two good enough to cut it at Stamford Bridge.
"At some point Emery needs to get it right from the start," Redknapp told the Mail.
"I appreciate that he does not have the same quality as Sarri.
"How many Arsenal players would get in the Chelsea team? I'd argue only Aubameyang and Ramsey."
Arsenal and Chelsea go head-to-head at the Emirates today. The Gunners need a win to go within three points of Maurizio Sarri's men, who beat them 3-2 earlier this season.
Redknapp reckons fans are in line to see more goals today.
I don't see Chelsea losing but Arsenal will create chances and have a go
He said: "I don't see Chelsea losing but Arsenal will create chances and have a go. I'm saying 2-2."
The Gunners started the season well under Unai Emery only for their form to taileoff.
But Redknapp thinks it was always going to be a long road for Emery to get Arsenal back to the top.
Arsenal vs Chelsea: Premier League clash preview
"Arsenal fans should be under no illusion that turning this club round will not be a quick fix," he said.
"It has been run badly for quite some time. They have let more than £100million of talent in Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere leave the club for next to nothing and been held to ransom by Mesut Ozil.
"The players are responding to Unai Emery, but the squad isn't good enough to challenge for the title. Patience is key."
