"We know he's a good player,” Kante said of the young American. “He's doing well for Dortmund and we are glad to welcome him to Chelsea.”
Pulisic is looking forward to linking up with his new team-mates in the summer and plying his trade in England’s top division.
“In summer I move on to Chelsea and to a new competition, the English Premier League,” he said.
“It’s a privilege to have signed for such a legendary club and I look forward to working hard towards being a contributor to their team of world-class players.

N'Golo Kante on Christian Pulisic
“Looking forward to working with Maurizio Sarri and his technical team.
"But for the next six months, it’s all BVB! Please do not doubt my passion, determination and my 110% commitment to the team right until the last ball is kicked this season.
“We all feel that this is ‘our year’ and we are determined to achieve the best possible results in all competitions.”

Maurizio Sarri’s side were booed off the pitch after their draw with Saints, which has left the west Londoners four points clear of fifth-placed Arsenal.
"It was a little bit difficult,” Kante said of Wednesday’s draw with Southampton. “We didn't complete our objective at home.
"We played against a very compact Southampton team, we had some chances but we didn't score. I think we defended very well in this game.

"We tried to keep the ball in the first half, in the second half we continued with our plan.
"We had more spaces and we tried to find a way to score but I think we missed some chances, the keeper made some saves and they fought until the end and got the point."
Chelsea will next be in action on tomorrow afternoon when they welcome Championship side Nottingham Forrest to Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup.
