Arsenal news: David Beckham plotting shock move for unsettled Mesut Ozil
DAVID BECKHAM’S Inter Miami CF are plotting a move for Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil, according to reports in Germany.
Ozil has been frozen out of the Arsenal first-team under manager Unai Emery.
And German newspaper Bild claim Beckham’s new MLS franchise are keen to sign the 30-year-old in what would be a shock deal.

“There are contacts with Beckham’s club in Miami In sunny Florida,” Bild wrote.
“Ozil may imagine ending his career there, but until then, he wants to enjoy the well-paid life as an Arsenal player in the metropolis of London.”

Ozil has not started a Premier League game since the beginning of November and reports have claimed he could leave the club as early as January.
He was left out of the recent defeat by Tottenham in the League Cup quarter-final, with manager Unai Emery citing tactical reasons for his decision.
However, Emery has suggested he could still have a future at the club if he is willing to adapt to his style of play.
Speaking ahead of their clash with Burnley in Saturday’s early kick-off, the Spaniard said: “I have spoken with him regularly throughout the season and I am telling him what we need from him.
“He has the commitment to help us with his quality and characteristics when the team needs his moment on the pitch.
“But not just him, I spoke with every player, sometimes individually, sometimes collectively.”
“[Ozil] has scored three goals [in the Premier League this season] and he has given us assists.
“But some matches we need different things tactically or individually.
“But it’s not only him. For me every player is the same. If you make a difference between them because one has more salary – for me it has to be the same.
“The most important thing is to train every day with good behaviour, good commitment and to be OK for the match.
“Mesut is OK for [the Burnley match]. There are 18 players in the squad and one of them is Mesut and I trust in our team and all our players.
“I understand some players give us more news outside but for me they are all the same.”
