Mourinho discusses player injuries ahead of Arsenal clash
Manchester United have been boosted by a number of key players returning from injury ahead of their upcoming meeting with Fulham at Old Trafford this weekend.
Jose Mourinho’s side have been enduring an injury crisis and had as many as 12 players doubtful before their 2-2 draw with Arsenal in midweek.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, the United manager said: “He doesn’t think it is an injury.
“He thinks it’s a pre-injury, he was feeling tight.”
Martial scored his eighth goal of the season before being forced off the pitch and is comfortably Manchester United’s top scorer in the league ahead of Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba (both five goals).
Mourinho was full of praise for his front three of Martial, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford against Arsenal while Ander Herrera was also singled out.

"They played well," Mourinho said.
"They gave good dynamic, good intensity, good movement, and we need that, we needed that happiness.
"Especially in moments where we are not very happy with the result we need happiness on the pitch, we need people that gives that good feeling and the three young guys up front, all of them quite light, but alive, agile, creative, they were good.
"Midfield was strong, Herrera pressed so, so well and so, so hard and the people behind was always in control."

Pogba was reportedly called a ‘virus’ by Mourinho following the 2-2 draw with Southampton, while Lukaku has struggled for form recently but did find the back of the net against Saints.
Ashley Young is set to return from suspension while Luke Shaw is in contention to start after picking up a knock last week, although Diogo Dalot could fill in for the England international.
Antonio Valencia, Victor Lindelof and Alexis Sanchez are all sidelined while Phil Jones is also a doubt for the Red Devils.
