Man Utd news: Marcus Rashford delivers message to Jose Mourinho ahead of Arsenal clash
MANCHESTER UNITED striker Marcus Rashford has told Jose Mourinho and his team-mates they must go for all three points against Arsenal tonight.
Mourinho says Man Utd does not need ‘miracle’ to beat Arsenal
The Red Devils have struggled this season and find themselves way down in eighth place in the Premier League.
United also trail the Gunners by eight points going into the match at Old Trafford.
And Rashford has opened up on how Arsenal have improved as well as the way Mourinho’s side need to approach the contest.
“It’s almost a different Arsenal side now,” he told the Mirror.
No matter what happens we have to try to get the three points
“They’re playing better football.
“They’re a more aggressive team and looking at them now they’re one of the strongest teams in the league.
“We have to take all that into account and no matter what happens we have to try to get the three points.”
Mourinho has also opened up on facing Arsenal at Old Trafford and the challenges he faces in picking his side.
He explained: “We are going to be in difficulties again to build the team.
“We are again going to have to make adaptations and compensations to try to give some balance to the team.
“But then I believe we are again going to have the spirit to fight and to try to win the match.”
Manchester United are a massive 19 points behind Premier League leaders and rivals Manchester City.
Mourinho’s side can now only have realistic aims of finishing in the top four.
United host Arsenal tonight from 8pm.
After the game against the Gunners, the Red Devils take on Fulham at 3pm on Saturday.
