Tottenham player ratings vs Chelsea: Alli, Kane, Son score – but unlikely hero DOMINATES
TOTTENHAM dominated Chelsea during their clash at Wembley – who impressed most?
Tottenham cruised to a 3-1 victory over Chelsea during a one-sided affair at Wembley on Saturday evening.
Spurs strolled out to an early lead thanks to Dele Alli and Harry Kane, before Son Heung-Min landed a stunning killer-blow in the second half.
Olivier Giroud scored a consolation goal, but Spurs outclassed and outperformed the Blues in every department, with a terrific display from an unlikely hero.
Take a look below to reveal our Tottenham player ratings against Chelsea.
Hugo Lloris – 6
His time would’ve been better spent testing out fire alarms at the new stadium. Untroubled.
Serge Aurier – 7
A couple of stray passes early on could’ve derailed his performance, but he picked up and looked confident all evening down the right flank.
Juan Foyth – 7
Unflinching in his biggest game for Spurs. Looked at home dealing with the toothless Morata.
Toby Alderweireld – 7
Orchestrated the defence well. Strolled through the game and came very close to scoring.
Ben Davies – 7
Looked a little lacklustre in 2018/19 so far, but he produced a decent display today. Solid.
Eric Dier – 7
Quietly went about his business. Controlled the midfield.
Moussa Sissoko – 9
Somehow… SOMEHOW… Sissoko has salvaged his Spurs career and was arguably the best player on the pitch today. A massive presence, covered every blade of grass and was the heart of everything good for Spurs. Ran the show.
Christian Eriksen – 8
Moments of real quality throughout. Terrific passing and a real creative force.
Dele Alli – 7
Missed a big chance but threatened all evening.
Son Heung-Min – 8
He’s taking a piece of David Luiz’s soul home with him tonight wrapped in a lock of his hair. A magical third goal turned the match into a training game.
Harry Kane – 7
Led the line very well, grabbed a goal and could’ve doubled his tally for the afternoon.
