Liverpool fan says Nabil Fekir a good fit for the club
But the Reds are not the only club monitoring Fekir with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old.
The France international almost joined Liverpool before the World Cup after a £53million move had been agreed with Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.
But due to late concerns over Fekir’s medical results - more specifically the quality of surgery done on an old knee ligament injury and the probability of complications further down the line - Liverpool backed out of a deal.
Fekir went on to win the World Cup with France and was continually linked with the Merseyside outfit for the remainder of the summer - though Jurgen Klopp never reignited his interest in the No 10.
Yet with Liverpool short of a top-class play-maker, Laurens - who appears on ESPN FC - believes they are still watching the Lyon captain.
He wrote in a Unibet column: “Fekir is still under contract until June 2020 and Lyon would love him to sign a new deal, allowing them to command a greater fee when he does leave.
“You could argue that after last summer, he is worth more than what was first agreed with Liverpool.
“At the moment, Liverpool are still very much monitoring his situation, while Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested.

He feels he is more than ready now to make the jump and go abroad
Julien Laurens
“He feels he is more than ready now to make the jump and go abroad. He wants a new challenge, to learn different things and to play for a top European club.
“First, he has a season to finish well with Lyon, a club which has given him so much and which he loves dearly.
“If he decided to leave, he would want to do it in the best way possible.
“Ideally, the perfect send-off would be a trophy for Lyon and top individual performances for him.

“Another great display in the Derby du Rhone [vs St Etienne] on Friday would also help.”
Discussing his failed move to Liverpool after helping Lyon to beat Man City in the Champions League back in September, Fekirtold Viasport: “What happened with Liverpool is straight out of my head, I turned the page.
"We must not stop at this, we must move forward. There are things that must be accepted.
“My future? We have not discussed an extension yet, we will see what happens."
