Christian Pulisic should stay put - Hislop
ESPN FC pundit and former West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop has told Christian Pulisic to stay put at Borussia Dortmund and reject any approach from Liverpool.
Hislop was asked what he thought of a potential move to Anfield for the winger to join up with former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.
But he claims remaining in the Bundesliga would be best for his development.
“Not for the first time we’ve seen this link,” Hislop said. “Probably not for the last and given who it is I’m going to guess we’re going to keep saying it over and over.
“But I’m convinced that Pulisic is in the right place. As much as I understand the link, especially given Jurgen Klopp is the Liverpool manager, which is why it keeps coming up, I don’t think he moves just yet.
“Not featuring heavily right now, but I think that changes. He’s in the right place to keep learning his trade.”
Chelsea want Jorge
Chelsea are scouting young Brazilian talent Kaio Jorge, it has been claimed.
Chelsea have a worldwide scouting network and the Daily Mail report that Jorge, 16, is on the Blues’ radar.
The youngster is currently working his way up Santos’ youth system and has attracted as much attention as Neymar had during his early years in the game.
Jorge could end up joining both Willian and David Luiz at Stamford Bridge - although his fellow Brazilians may both end up leaving the London club at the end of the season.
Paulo Dybala on Man Utd interest
Paulo Dybala has revealed he has no interest in joining Manchester United, claiming he’s fully focused on Juventus.
"I'm not thinking about the transfer market,” Dybala told the Daily Mirror when asked about interest from United.
“Right now I'm really happy at Juventus and the focus is simply winning all the titles here.
"At Juventus, it's always the same objective - to win titles.
"It's true that this year, from the outside, the Champions League looks more like an obsession but the focus is, as always, on the domestic title as well."
Eric Bailly London-bound?
Arsenal and Tottenham are serious suitors for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.
The north London heavyweights both need to bolster their squads in January.
And, according to the Daily Record, Unai Emery and Mauricio Pochettino have made enquires.
Bailly’s days at Old Trafford look numbered.
It’s suggested Jose Mourinho is keen on Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Portuguese chief is desperate to bolster his squad in the January transfer window.
Wanted: Fabinho
AC Milan are considering an audacious approach for Liverpool midfielder Fabinho.
Fabinho arrived at Anfield in July having completed a £39million transfer from Monaco.
The 25-year-old endured a slow start to life under Jurgen Klopp having been forced to wait until October 20 to make his Premier League debut.
And regardless of the fact he’s started to establish himself and has over four years left on his contract - he’s been linked with a departure.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport report that AC Milan are interested in a January deal and have identified Fabinho as a potential signing.
Weah to England?
Timothy Weah is expected to play for USA against England tonight.
And the PSG forward is keen on a January transfer when the window opens in the New Year.
Chelsea wanted to sign Weah last year, while his former PSG boss Unai Emery is now at Arsenal.
Both Strasbourg and Lazio failed to sign the 18-year-old in the summer - but he will be in the shop window at Wembley tonight.
Chelsea transfer ban
Chelsea and four other unidentified Premier League clubs are under investigation by FIFA for the alleged violations and could face transfer bans if found guilty.
French investigative website Mediapart claim FIFA's Integrity and Compliance unit would seek to impose a two-year transfer ban on the clubs as well as a fine of £390,264.
Mediapart is one of several media outlets publishing documents obtained by Football Leaks.
The Football Leaks documents were obtained by German publication Der Spiegel and reviewed by Reuters in partnership with European Investigative Collaborations, a network of international media.
Eden Hazard to Real Madrid
Real Madrid appear to be looking at alternatives to Chelsea ace Eden Hazard.
Los Blancos - who have handed Santiago Solari the reins following Julen Lopetegui’s dismissal - are expected to bolster their ranks in the New Year.
Eden Hazard remains a long-term target but a January deal looks increasingly unlikely.
The Blues are performing well in the Premier League and Hazard has developed a new lease of life under Maurizio Sarri.
It’s suggested Solari is keen on Espanyol youngster Marc Roca who looks destined for big things.
And he may make the call to end his club's interest in Hazard.
Aaron Ramsey transfer battle
Aaron Ramsey is expected to join Bayern Munich on a long-term contract at the end of the season, according to reports.
The Arsenal midfielder hoped to sign a new deal with the north London club but talks came to an impasse this autumn.
Ramsey, currently on £110-a-week sought an improved deal that would reflect his importance to the club.
But The Independent are reporting that Bayern Munich 'are confident' of securing his signature.
Mesut Ozil’s weekly wage of £300,000 reportedly frustrated Ramsey, who feels his worth is near that of the German playmaker.
Liverpool and Manchester United were also rumoured to be interested in the attacking midfielder, but Jurgen Klopp ruled out the move earlier this month.
