Lovren faced criticism for claiming that he was one of the best defenders in the world before the World Cup final.
The Croatian took a swipe at Ramos to defend his verdict that he was among the best in the game.
"When he [Ramos] makes a mistake, he wins 5-1 or 5-2 and nobody cares,” Lovren told Copa90.

"I've said it many times. I don't know if these things are said out of frustration or for other reasons," he said in Spain’s press conference.
"I'm not going to answer Lovren or whoever wants to win three front pages or start the news bulletin.
“Everyone wins things for himself on the pitch."
Life after Zinedine Zidane has proved very difficult for Los Blancos.
