Man Utd news: Agent provides HUGE update on Pogba future as he speaks out on Mourinho spat
PAUL POGBA’s agent Mino Raiola has given a clear indication that the midfielder is happy at Manchester United.
Paul Pogba: I'm happy playing for Manchester United
The Frenchman’s future has been the subject of intense speculation after a public fall-out with manager Jose Mourinho.
Pogba criticised his tactics after their 1-1 draw with Wolves in September and was stripped of his vice-captain duties as a result.
He also posted an Instagram video that showed him laughing after defeat to Derby in the League Cup.
That led to a frosty exchange between the pair in training the following day that was caught on camera.
However, it has since been claimed that Pogba tried to post the video before the Derby defeat but had trouble doing so because of a bad WiFi connection at Old Trafford.
And Raiola has now confirmed his client - who was recently linked with a move back to Juventus - and Mourinho have patched up their differences.
"He (Pogba) has mended his relationship with Mourinho," Raiola told Rai Sport.
"He is more serene because he feels important in Manchester. Even if Turin has remained in his heart."
The news will come as a huge boost to United fans who have had to listen to constant speculation about Pogba leaving Old Trafford.
Barcelona were understood to be interested in taking him to the Nou Camp in the summer.
The 25-year-old stayed put and has been a key figure for Mourinho this season despite the fact they have not seen eye-to-eye at times.
The pair are currently preparing to face Manchester City in the crunch Manchester Derby at the Etihad on Sunday.
Pogba is a doubt for the clash against the Premier League leaders after only taking part in light training on Friday.
