Jadon Sancho: England hero heaps praise on ‘phenomenal’ Borussia Dortmund star
JADON SANCHO could make his senior England debut against Croatia on Friday night - and Emile Heskey is looking forward to seeing him play.
Sancho was handed a first call-up to the England squad last week by manager Gareth Southgate and was named on the bench for the trip to Croatia.
The 18-year-old plays for Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and has more assists in Europe than any player so far this season with nine.
Sancho is one of a number of youngsters brought into the squad by Southgate.
Derby midfielder Mason Mount, who is on loan from Chelsea, is also amongst the substitutes for the Nations League clash against Croatia.

“The others, it’s just great to get out there and perform and play on the pitch with some experienced players as well.”
Sancho left Manchester City in the summer of 2017 to join Dortmund.
And former England midfielder Paul Ince says it was the right move for his career.
“It was a great move,” Ince told Express Sport.
“You’d think with Gareth putting him in the squad he’s in line for some minutes. If not tonight, then he should feature against Spain.
“I’m fed up with all these players stuck in the under-23s not playing for their clubs.
“They can have a lot of talent, a lot of potential, but what good is that if they’re not playing?
“They need to play. They have to play.”
