“But we have enough potential to do better than what we are doing in the Premier League.

“Because we are better than this, our situation is going to improve. I have no doubts about that.”
Asked who was to blame for United’s malaise, Mourinho said: “The same people that were to blame with the fantastic season of last season.
“This team can do much better and will do much better.
“If the commitment is there that the team showed against Valencia, if we do that against Newcastle and we’re a bit luckier, we win.”
Mourinho was involved in a public row with superstar midfielder Paul Pogba last week.

“But the brands now, kids look up to these players, it’s part of it. Simple as that.
“Pogba’s brand will continue after Manchester United, it’ll last after the next team he plays for. It’ll always be there.
