Leeds news: Bielsa's side are soaring, Roofe is superb…but there's one worry - EXCLUSIVE
LEEDS are soaring at the moment with Marcelo Bielsa coaxing the best from Kemar Roofe - but Dean Ashton has one worry about the current crop of players at Elland Road.
But Ashton, who turned out for Norwich, West Ham and made one England appearance during his career, thinks Leeds’ squad is looking a little thin on options.
“It’s incredible [how Bielsa has transformed Leeds],” he exclusively told Express Sport.
“Kemar Roofe has been absolutely superb for them.
“What’s impressed me most about Leeds is how when they score the first goal, they always seem to take control of matches.
“Thats hard to do, particularly in the Championship. Teams usually come back but Leeds haven’t let them in. They always look a real threat.

“The one worry, though, that I have is that if they pick up a few injuries.
“Do they have the squad to cope with that at the moment?”
Ashton does think, though, that Bielsa’s arrival as manager has rejuvenated Leeds players.
And the former striker has explained how players feel when a new manager comes into the dressing room.
