FIFA 19 demo teams: 10 clubs revealed ahead of launch – Man Utd, Juventus but no Barcelona
FIFA 19 fans will be able to get their hands on the new demo this afternoon, but which clubs are playable in the launch?
The highly anticipated FIFA 19 demo goes live today, with gamers eagerly waiting to get their first taste of the newest edition in the franchise.
EA Sports have confirmed the teaser will go live this afternoon, and the gaming giants have also dropped a hint about the 10 teams which will be playable.
Earlier this week, the developers tweeted a promotional image showing the demo release, publicising preview experiences for The Journey and Champions League licensing and displaying a collection of team badges.
The 10 clubs shown in the tweet are all European giants, following the usual pattern of giving players a wide selection of top teams to try out – so who will you try first?
Juventus
The Italian giants signed Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, securing a legion of new fans and solving their striker problems in the process.
Worth selecting just to see CR7 in a new kit.
Real Madrid
Now without Ronaldo but Los Blancos still boast a host of exciting talent to play with.
Gareth Bale is one of the most electric attackers in the game while Isco and Marco Asensio have huge potential.
Manchester United
The most popular team in the world?
It’s hardly surprising that United are included in the FIFA 19 demo, although gamers will hope they can inject a little more excitement into their play than what is currently being offered up at Old Trafford.
Manchester City
Arguably the strongest squad in Europe last season, with Pep Guardiola’s side cruising to the Premier League title.
The champions have a host of options all over the pitch, although fans may struggle to get Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane, Riyad Mahrez, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus all in the same starting XI.
Bayern Munich
The Bundesliga giants are in the process of freshening up their squad and easing out the veterans who have served them so well.
Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Thomas Muller are not getting any younger but they can still tear the opposition apart on their day.
Paris Saint-Germain
No Ligue 1 team can compete with PSG, both on the pitch and in the transfer market.
Neymar is the big lure for gamers, although Edinson Cavani and co more than pull their weight.
Atletico Madrid
Atletico have soared in popularity recently after their impressive results under Diego Simeone.
Plenty of steel added to no small amount of flair make the La Liga outfit a fan favourite.
Borussia Dortmund
Another club with a massive European following, Dortmund are famed for constructing exciting squads packed full of pace.
Additionally, BVB never fail to produce a gorgeous kit.
Roma
The Italian outfit have experienced something of a resurgence in recent years.
Their run to the Champions League semi-finals last season coupled with a busy summer transfer window has seen them included in the demo.
Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs are one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League, despite having yet to win a trophy under Mauricio Pochettino.
Harry Kane was one of the stars of the World Cup while Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli should provide plenty of goals.
