Team Ferrari raced to the podium with Sebastian Vettel snatching first place right out from underneath Lewis Hamilton’s nose.
With the British driver in second place, the circuit was completed by fellow Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottas who swooped in at third place.
The next stage of the racing championship will see the seasoned drivers square off at the Sochi Autodrom in Russia.

When is the Russian Grand Prix?
Practice sessions at the Sochi racetrack today, Friday April, 28 and end with the Grand Prix this following Sunday.
What time are the F1 races?
The first practice session will begin at 9am BST on Friday April 28, with a second practice run at 1pm BST on the same day.
One final practice lap will be held on Saturday April 29 at 10am BST and the first qualifying round will begin at 1pm BST.
The Grand Prix itself will kick off on Sunday April 30 at 1pm BST.
How to watch the Grand Prix
Coverage of the races will be picked up by Channel on Friday at 8.55am BST. The Grand Prix will air from 12pm on Sunday.

The racing will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and channel 4 this year
