Monaco Grand Prix to return to terrestrial TV in UK as Channel 4 and Sky reveal schedule
FORMULA ONE's signature race the Monaco Grand Prix will be live on free-to-air television in 2017 for the first time in five years.
Mark Webber won the Monaco Grand Prix last time it was on terrestrial TV
The Monaco GP last featured on terrestrial TV when it was aired by the BBC in 2012.
That year Mark Webber drove to a dramatic victory with Nico Rosberg and Fernando Alonso within a second just behind.
Lewis Hamilton won the Monaco Grand Prix for the second time in 2016
But the four subsequent editions have been exclusively on Sky Sports, who will once again show every race of the 2017 season.
However, Channel 4 will also show 10 races including the British GP at Silverstone and the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
The Monaco Grand Prix is perhaps the most iconic race in the F1 calendar
The other changes to Channel 4's choices see Spain, Hungary and Italy dropped while the races in Singapore and the US will be available on both channels.
