UFC icon Conor McGregor launched a scathing tirade against Jake Paul following 'The Problem Child's knockout win over Mike Perry at the Amalie Arena on Saturday night. Paul secured the victory with a sixth-round KO, having already sent the MMA fighter to the canvas in the earlier rounds.

Paul, aged 26, has been persistently challenging McGregor to step into the boxing ring. Despite successfully provoking the Irish superstar on several occasions, an official bout has yet to be arranged.

In response to Paul's latest triumph, McGregor took to social media, unleashing a barrage of insults at the American and criticising his anticipated bout with boxing legend Mike Tyson. McGregor further insinuated that Paul was using performance-enhancing substances, avoiding "real testing."

"Jake Paul is the biggest ------- I have ever seen in my life. 40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still shitting himself in there," the ex-UFC double champion exclaimed. "Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that's right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. ----- -----. You could never. And then calling out 60year old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of ----- ----. Most valuable -------."

Conor McGregor, the part-owner of BKFC, announced he would be releasing Mike Perry from the promotion after his defeat to Paul, expressing his decision in a series of now-deleted tweets: "Hey Mike you're released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck," McGregor stated. "You're fired. @BareKnuckleFC. Dirty boxing championship With MMA sparring gloves? Lol. Enjoy that, lad, smell ya later."

Despite the setback, Perry showed sportsmanship by praising Paul's performance. The bout was originally scheduled against Tyson at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, but due to unforeseen medical issues, Perry stepped in as a last-minute replacement.

Reflecting on the match, Perry acknowledged Paul's superiority: "I was trying to roll with the punches and hit your ass back, but you did a great job, you were way too fast for me and I couldn't adjust," he conceded. "The first round when you knocked me down you were just too heavy, just kinda knocked me over and didn't even rock me. But later on, you did a good job, congratulations."

Perry also remarked on his resilience and the challenge Paul posed: "I'm fine, it's a normal day for me but he hit me a little harder than some of my training partners, that's all. He was too fast and he adjusted. Practice makes perfect. He's not sitting there waiting to be hit like me. I was trying to find the timing but he was just too clean and too fast."

Paul has reiterated his eagerness to take on Tyson, despite the significant age difference between them. "Mike Tyson," Paul declared. "You're next. Sign the contract. I'm excited for that one, I'm going to go home and prepare for that one. It's happening, Nov. 15."

"Mike Tyson is training, he's back, looking crazier than ever. I'm going to get another KO and prove everyone wrong once again. Everyone said I was an idiot for taking this fight, that I was risking it but this is why I'm here, I take big risks. Mike, I love you but this is my sport now. You're a legend, you're one of the two most famous boxers ever to live, you and Muhammad Ali. It's an honour to get in the ring with you. I'm so, so honoured; you're a legend, but I'm going to take your throne."
