Dillian Whyte emotional as he vents anger after laboured Mariusz Wach win
Dillian Whyte made his return to the ring on Saturday night on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr.
Dillian Whyte has hit out at those who doubted him during his period of limbo following his anti-doping violation earlier this year. The Brixton brawler returned to the ring this evening on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia.
Whyte was welcomed back to action by Poland’s Mariusz Wach, who provided him with a sterner test than many expected.
The former mandatory WBC heavyweight title challenger did just enough to avoid an upset defeat, winning the contest via unanimous decision.
Whyte’s outing in Saudi was his first since he was cleared by UKAD of any wrongdoing regarding his failed drug test - which came back positive for traces of the banned anabolic steroid dianabol - ahead of his victory over Oscar Rivas in July.
The 31-year-old was somewhat overcome by emotion following his professional 27th victory and aired his frustrations in his post-fight interview.

"I might not have been in the right place, but I carried on training. I took this fight on three weeks' notice and came in about a stone-and-a-half overweight.
"But I know with my defence and stuff I could get through the rounds.
