Coronation Street spoilers: Johnny Connor rocked by Steve McDonald bombshell
CORONATION STREET’S Johnny Connor has had a tumultuous time of late but it looks like it won’t be ending any time soon if Steve McDonald has anything to do with it.
Coronation Street: Liz and Johnny continue to hide baby Susie
Johnny (played by Richard Hawley) was waged in a difficult custody battle with Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) over his granddaughter Susie on ITV soap Coronation Street.
However, it ultimately came to nothing and he is now trying to get his life back together.
But a past liaison may come back to haunt him as his affair with Liz McDonald (Beverly Callard) is brought up again.
Johnny cheated on loving wife Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) with Liz and even declared his love for her.
He has since realised Jenny is the one for him, but he won’t be able to escape his misdemeanours.
As he tries to take on the Rovers Return with Jenny, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) warns him he knows all about the night they shared.
Johnny is left reeling by Steve’s revelations and tries to assure him that it’s Jenny he really loves.
But Liz is also forced to intervene when she hears what her son’s been saying and tells Johnny she’ll keep quiet.
While it seems as though the matter is settled, there could be more trouble on the horizon.
With Liz still working the pub and the Connors moving in, being in such close quarters may spur on some tension.
But viewers will have to wait and see whether Jenny learns the difficult truth about her husband.
Meanwhile, baby Susie has been taken away from the cobbles by Eva as she left Weatherfield behind.
Eva has been to hell and back in the past few months following the suicide of Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) and her initial decision to give Susie to Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).
Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) was desperate for Eva to stay but she ultimately decided to leave.
She and Susie left England behind for a new life somewhere in France.
Adam left with the pair as they set off away from the Street in a taxi.
However, viewers haven’t seen the last of Adam as he’ll soon be back.
Adam will be back to step into a new legal case so it looks as though he could be around for a while yet.
The lawyer will get involved with Sally Webster’s (Sally Dynevor) fraudster Duncan Radfield (Nicholas Gleaves).
Coronation Street continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
