Emmerdale spoilers: Jai Sharma to KILL Lachlan White after sinister threat? Here's a clue
EMMERDALE killer Lachlan White may have finally lost the game following an incredibly sinister threat from Jai Sharma in tonight’s episode of the hit soap, but who will win?
Emmerdale: Priya recounts waking up in Lachlan's car
Viewers have been waiting for months for serial killer Lachlan White (played by Thomas Atkinson) to get his due on Emmerdale.
Following horrific events that saw the troubled teenager murder his mother Chrissie White (Louise Marwood) and grandfather Lawrence (John Bowe), Lachlan has only taken his reign of terror further.
But this week’s episodes have seen Lachlan struggle to maintain his cover after Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) nearly caught him about to bash newcomer Freddy over the head with a rock.
Lachlan managed to wheedle his way out of trouble but the Sharma family are now convinced something is very wrong with the amateur businessman on the ITV soap.
Lachlan is more concerned at the moment with his mystery stalker, and following another text message the character thought he’d filled in the blanks on tonight’s instalment.
It read: “I know… and I won’t forget.”
While it remains to be seen if the sender is someone Lachlan already knows - possibly Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) - or someone viewers haven’t met yet, the recipient was convinced it was father-of-one Jai (Chris Bisson).
Cornering him at home after a tense conversation with Priya, Lachlan thought he’d gained the upper hand.
Warning him to stop his games, Lachlan seemed surprised at Jai’s confusion.
If I wanted to scare you I wouldn’t hide behind my phone
Things then took a deadly turn as a fed up Jai decided to give the teenager a warning.
Taking a step closer, Jai said: “If I wanted to scare you I wouldn’t hide behind my phone and believe me the last thing I would look is weak.
“Now get away from my house, and stay away from my sister.”
Puzzled, Lachlan was left none the wiser as to who was stalking him, but if Jai clocks on to his activities will he snap?
Viewers have rarely seen this side of Jai before.
Taking to Twitter, viewers were worried for both characters on the soap.
One person wrote: “Jai better watch his back #Emmerdale.”
“Lachlan eyeing his next kill #emmerdale,” another said.
A third admitted: “#Emmerdale Lachlan is very creepy!!”
While a fourth declared: “Uh oh Lachlan maybe you need to be wary of Jai #Emmerdale.”
Emmerdale continues Friday at 7pm on ITV.
