Aidan (played by Shayne Ward) will leave the residents of Coronation Street confused when he makes some very generous gestures.
The Underworld boss is set to surprise Summer Spellman (Matilda Freeman) and Liam Connor with treats following his promotion.
Summer will ask Aidan for a job at the factory as a cleaner in a bid to earn some extra pocket money.
Unfortunately, despite impressing Aidan during her work experience, he confesses he can’t give her a permanent job.
As he sees how upset the youngster is he decides to surprise her with a gift.
Aidan will give Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) his credit card and send her shopping with Summer.
The businessman promises that Summer can purchase whatever she likes ahead of a party she is going to.
Meanwhile later in the week, Aidan will give little Liam a present.
When he spots the youngster admiring his watch, he hands the timepiece over to him.
His mum Maria will be stunned when she finds the watch in Liam’s pocket but the youngster insists it was a gift.

It comes after soap star Shayne opened up about his departure from the ITV soap.
He told the Daily Star on Sunday: “I think people will be shocked by my leaving storyline, definitely.
“I can’t say anything about it but I promise it will be worth tuning in for.”

He went on to add that filming his final scenes was “very surreal”.
“[It was] quite emotional. I did cry,” he revealed.
It comes after Coronation Street executive producer Kate Oates was stepping down from her role.
“Being part of Coronation Street has quite simply been one of the best experiences of my life,” she explained. “I am proud of the stories we have told and the impact they have had.”
Coronation Street continues tomorrow on ITV at 7.30pm.
