Maisie Williams: Game of Thrones has lots more filming to do
Game of Thrones fans have been anxiously waiting for any spoilers that could offer insight into the fate of their favourite characters.
And, it seems one fan may have uncovered a huge clue regarding Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams).
In season seven of the hit HBO series, Arya finally returned to Winterfell after she spent several years wandering around Westeros believing her family were dead.
She had also spent time in Braavos training with the Faceless Men so she could avenge the death of her father Ned (Sean Bean).
Arya will no doubt be hoping to reunite with her brother Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in the final series to assist him with his fight against the Night King.
However, even if Arya does join Jon’s army, it doesn’t look as though she will survive the battle.
Fans believe Jon predicted her death way back in season one.
Referencing a passage in A Game of Thrones, the first book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, fans noted that Arya’s death appears to have been foreshadowed.
Shared on Reddit by user jenitlz, it reads: “‘You had best run back your room, little sister.
“Septa Mordant will surely be lurking. The longer you hide, the sterner the penance.

The hardest thing about the show ending is that I’ll never get to be Arya again
“You’ll be sewing all through winter. When the spring thaw comes, they will find your body with a needle still locked tight between your frozen fingers.’”
The passage suggests Arya could fall during the battle against the Night King and army of the dead.
Furthermore, it hints her body may not be found until much later and she will be lying with her sword Needle frozen to her.
Earlier this month, actress Maisie opened up on how it has been filming her final scenes as Arya.
The star told InStyle: “The hardest thing about the show ending is that I’ll never get to be Arya again.
Game of Thrones: Maisie said she is sad she has to leave Arya behind
“For a long time, we felt like the same person, but now that I’m older, I’ve grown into a different person and found other stories to my personality.
“But I do wish she shaped me to be more fearless in the industry.”
The 20-year-old went on to add that she will always have a place in her heart for Arya.
“Honestly, no matter what else I work on, I’ll miss playing her,” she confessed.
Game of Thrones will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2019.
