Emmerdale: Belle strikes Tom with an axe

Emmerdale’s Daisy Campbell has admitted she’s “worried” for Amelia Spencer’s future after Tom King’s violent attack.

Over the past six months in the ITV village, the manic vet (played by James Chase) has been horrifically abusing his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).

Thankfully, Belle finally ended her marriage to the twisted nurse after enduring over a year of torment. Following their split, Tom found love with another blonde in the village, this time in the arms of Amelia.

But that didn’t put a stop to his violent outbursts. Things came to a head last week when he tracked Belle down and attempted to kill her with an axe.

Luckily, she managed to get the upper hand and wedged the weapon in his back – but that wasn’t enough to end him.

On Monday (September 30), viewers learnt that the bearded brute somehow managed to survive the attack when he woke up in a hospital bed with the support of his new flame.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, soap siren Daisy has warned fans that more trouble is in store for her character later this year. She told us: “I am worried.

“I think at this moment in time she’s settled, she’s with an older man, like everything’s fine. But we’ll see what’s to come because there’s a lot coming.

“At Christmas time there’s going to be a lot going on for Tom and Belle and Amelia’s character, so keep watching.” Fans will have to stay tuned to see what will happen to the mum-of-one with the abusive vet.

Emmerdale aires from Monday to Thursday on ITV1 from 7.30pm or catch up on ITVX.
