How many episodes are in Electric Dreams?
There are 10 episodes in season one of Electric Dreams, which is an anthology series and means that each instalment is a standalone.
Each episode is based on a short story by science fiction author Philip K. Dick, whose work inspired Minority Report, Total Recall and Blade Runner.
The writer’s daughter Isa Dick Hackett initially approached producer Michael Dinner to turn one of his 120 short stories into a TV series.
Dinner said: “They explained that [Dick] had written 120-plus short stories, and asked me to start reading them so that we could pick one and make a series out of it.
“So I started reading them and I called them up and I said, ‘Okay, how about if I told you I want them all?’”

Will there be another season of Electric Dreams?
Channel 4 hasn’t announced whether Electric Dreams has been recommissioned for season two.
A second outing would be dependent on the ratings and how the drama has performed internationally on Amazon.
Theoretically, there is the potential to make several seasons of Electric Dreams given the sheer amount of original source material.
Electric Dreams returns to Channel 4 tomorrow at 10pm and season 1 is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
