Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette, 34, and her husband Aljaž Škorjanec, 28, appeared on Good Morning Britain today with hosts Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway.
The pair were asked about a recent report suggesting Brendan, 41, was dropped from the BBC show following an out-of-protocol dance with the Duchess of Cornwall.
It was claimed by The Sun that Craig Revel Horwood was supposed to be the only one to dance with the royal.
However, Brendan has since denied the rumour, saying: “I can confirm that these assertions are absolutely, categorically untrue.

“There was no such brief from the BBC,” his spokesperson told The Mirror.
Furthermore, Clarence House added: “The Duchess thoroughly enjoyed her dance with Brendan just as much as she did her dance with Craig.”
Susanna and Kate set about asking what Aljaž and Janette thought of the report, since they were also at the event.
Janette said: “I don’t know royal protocol but I do know that [Camilla] seemed happy to get in there and Waltz.”

Aljaž joked: “I would be happy to dance with Brendan!”
Janette laughed before adding: “It didn’t cross our mind that it was wrong we were all just having a great time.
“I don’t remember because I was just so excited to be there so I think you just don’t know.
“She really did have a huge smile on her face,” Janette confessed.

What’s more, Aljaž opened up on his sadness over Brendan not returning to Strictly Come Dancing later this year.
He admitted: “We still think of ourselves as newbies and when you walk in on that first day, you really want someone to be there and support you.
“He was always there to support us,” Aljaž explained.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am and Strictly Come Dancing is expected to return to BBC One later this year.
