Graham previously caught Debbie and Cain trying to plant drugs on his boss Joe and he’s quick to work out that the attack was meant for the elusive millionaire.
Can Cain and Debbie convince Graham that they had nothing to do with attack or will Joe’s right-hand man take down the mechanic by revealing all to Ross?
Ahead of tonight’s episode, soap star Michael opened up about what fans can expect in the aftermath of tonight's horror.
“Surprisingly, Ross has enjoyed being around Joe over the Dingles,” he explained.
Emmerdale: Graham Foster will suspect Debbie has something to do with Ross' attack
“Joe takes him to nice parties, pays him handsomely and Joe’s really polite to him.
“Ross slowly starts to realise he’d rather be on Joe’s team. But just as he’s starting to find his foot again, both Debbie and Joe have turned on him and he feels hard done by.”
Michael continued: “He’s gutted, as he was just about to stop playing the games for the Dingles and just be loyal to Joe.
“But Joe finds out and fires him on the spot and Ross knows he’s messed it up with Joe. Ross then takes revenge and steals Joe’s car.”
Emmerdale: How will Ross react when he learns Debbie is behind his attack?
The actor noted that the storyline was a “big responsibility” and that he was “nervous” about tackling it.
“I know it’s a reality for some people and it’s so important to get it right and do the story justice,” Michael said.
