EUROVISION YOU DECIDE presenter Måns Zelmerlöw certainly didn’t hold back as the competition got underway tonight and he took a shock swipe at those who complain about the Brexit result.

His surprising remark came as his Eurovision You Decide co-host Mel Giedroyc ran through the BBC’s voting terms and conditions.
She explained: “Now, do listen up at home, this year we are following the Eurovision song contests way of voting with a 50/50 combination of our professional jury vote plus your all important public vote.”
“We will open the vote at the end of the show,” Måns added.
Mel went on to note that it was important that viewers wait until the lines open before they placed their vote.

If you don’t vote, you aren’t allowed to complain about the result afterwards
“It won’t count, you may still be charged and you will feel like a plum. However all the information anout tonight’s vote can be found on pour website,” the 49-year-old said.
It was then that Måns took a swipe at Remoaners, laughing: “And remember you have to vote.
“If you don’t vote, you aren’t allowed to complain about the result afterwards.”
He then sneezed before simply exclaiming: “Brexit.”

His remark thrilled many of those tuning into Eurovision You Decide at home, with viewers flocking to Twitter to comment on the joke.
“Okay, the Brexit sneeze made me smile #EurovisionYouDecide,” one fan wrote.
While another added: “OOOOOOOOOOHHHHH THAT BREXIT BURN FROM MÅNS LMAOOOOOOOOOO #EurovisionYouDecide.”
A third continued: “And if you don’t vote you don’t get to complain about the result *COUGH Brexit* excellent shade #EurovisionYouDecide.”

However, a fifth was left confused, asking: “I AM BAFFLED IS MANS PRO-BREXIT #eurovisionyoudecide.”
Tonight six hopefuls will battle out for the opportunity to perform in Lisbon for the Eurovision in May.
Asanda, Goldstone, Jaz Ellington, Liam Tamne, Raya and SuRie are all hoping to impress viewers at home.
The Eurovision Song Contest will air on BBC One on Saturday 12 May.
